How results are ranked

• Sitters with an active profile, approved by our team, who offer the service you're looking for.
• Within the distance that applies to that service from the area you chose. For walks, visits and house sitting on an island, only sitters on the same island appear.
• If you give dates, only those who are available and have room on those days.
• The filters you choose (maximum price, minimum rating, instant book).

• Default, "Nearest": closest first (distance between municipality centres), then the lowest price.
• "Price": lowest price first, then distance.
• "Rating": highest average rating and most reviews first; those without reviews yet follow, by distance.
• When all of the above are equal, whoever has been on the platform longest comes first.

There is no paid placement: nobody can pay to appear higher. The "ID checked" badge and instant book show on the cards but don't change the order (instant book only as a filter, if you choose it).
